type1 is a diabetes management app which delivers insulin doses with a snapshot of the food through a personally trained database powered by AI.
I worked with a team of developers to bring this vision into reality with a goal of having the most seamless diabetes app in the market.
why?
Usually, people with diabetes use external insulin by injecting it into their bodies. One of the most difficult challenges they face is giving themselves accurate insulin amounts.
The standard way used by people is carb-related calculations to generate an insulin dosage amount. This is often a hassle and can be very time-consuming.
I wanted to give people a seamless new way of knowing their insulin dose.

I wanted this app to be as human as possible, this required intuitive and natural language when communicating with the user, like a companion.
