I designed pikups as a solo project and am working towards collaborating with a small team to bring this project into reality
What's pikups?
Pikups is a mobile application designed to connect sports enthusiasts by facilitating the organization and discovery of local pickup games.
This project focuses on developing the app’s user interface, creating a cohesive brand identity, and designing advertising mockups to enhance the user experience and market presence.
why?
Soccer has always been a big part of my life, but my friends and I often struggled to find enough people for a proper game. We’d spend hours texting, posting in groups, or showing up at fields only to find no games—or teams already full.
I realized others faced the same frustration. Existing apps charged fees or focused on organized leagues, missing the casual, fun spirit of pickup soccer. That’s why I created pikups—to make it easy and free for soccer enthusiasts to find and join games, bringing the joy of the game back without the hassle.

Behind the scenes
Over a semester, I designed wireframes to map out pikups’ core features and user flow. These evolved into a clickable prototype, allowing me to test and refine the app.

Lastly, I designed an advertising mockup billboard that showcases its simplicity and aims to leave viewers intrigued wanting to learn more.
